A site was chosen outside of Lincoln, Nebraska in a remote farming community. The location provides the privacy for a small group of sisters of the Carmelite Order to live lives of reflection and worship. A skill and understanding was obtained by working with a very unique client with their own mission and identity.
A two story chapel was incorporated in the project which holds daily mass that enables the sisters to take part in the services while staying separated from the public. The program includes self-sustaining facilities, consisting of medical rooms (including a dental area), a library, a large kitchen and pantry, utility rooms, recreational rooms and many other support facilities.
